The alarm went off this morning and it was time to start another school year! It seems like the summer flew by at an incredible pace and although I am more than ready to get back into a schedule, I am not ready for the 5:45am wake-up calls and the personal taxi service around the city of Gainesville. Brooke is now in 2nd grade with Mrs. Bates and Austin is in 1st grade with Ms. Ebert(this will be her very 1st teaching job straight out of college). This will be the 1st year in the BRAND NEW, STATE OF THE ART, Elementary building. It truly does have ALL of the bells and whistles and looking back, these kids are more than blessed to be receiving their education in such a phenomenal, high-tech environment. Austin will be a lion again this year, and for the ease of the children with the transition into the new building, his classmates will remain the same from last year....this is so exciting! We are looking forward to an amazing year at PK Yonge!
